ABOUT TRESTLE
As the 2020 election made clear in the middle of COVID, without best-in-class technology and digital infrastructure, progressive movements can't reach communities where they are.
Trestle is a non-profit team of expert engineers, designers, and product managers who partner with leading movement groups and campaigns. In order to build power in this year’s midterms and beyond, our movement needs critical technology upgrades. Trestle exists to ensure our movement’s technology infrastructure is secure, reliable, and user-friendly for the millions of volunteers, organizers, and campaign workers that depend upon it.
Since our start in the 2020 election cycle, Trestle has mobilized a diverse community of 70+ senior technologists to protect, secure and bolster the work of 60+ critical social change groups. We have supported organizations leading on the front lines — such as the Sunrise Movement, Peoples’ Action, the Lawyers’ Committee on Civil and Human Rights, The Sierra Club, Equis Labs — as well as the technology groups fueling 21st century organizing — including The Movement Cooperative, Mobilize America, Vote.org, and BallotReady.
